Spring Clothing I’m Crushing On

Spring Clothing I'm crushing on

I love high knee socks, boots and a ruby cashmere turtleneck as much as the next girl and there’s a special thrill inside of me when the fall chill first hits, but spring makes me feel alive. I love seeing the flowers bloom, the bright colors and being able to workout outside. Most of all I love being able to wear dresses without having to wear tights (or nylons, god forbid).

I love that rompers have sticking around, but for me they have to pass the pee test before I can even think about buying this. As much as I love fashion I also like comfort and have to completely undress to pee every hour is just not going to happen. The elastic waistband and sheer fabric make it a cinch to take on and off. The romper also works great as the centerpiece of your outfit and would look super cute with a blazer if you needed to dress it up at all.

I have zero waist so I tend to be very picky about my rompers since so many are billowy just like this one, but this one works quite well even if you have no waist to speak of since the pattern is so slimming!

My favorite dress hands down for this season is the bright pink and green dress by Dress the Population (one of my fave brands for dresses). I love the trend this season of showing some skin, but really it’s just a nude slip underneath. Super classy in my book. I could definitely see myself wearing this to a daytime wedding, tea party or….around the house while sweeping….I really just want an excuse to buy this dress.

Everyone should have a crisp white dress in their closet and, as I said above, I have zero waist, so this hourglass silhouette this dress cuts is just what I’m looking for. You’re just showing a glimpse of skin and the high halter top cut of the dress keeps it classy. I love white dresses because you can dress them up or down. Wear it with a pair of flats and a soft, dainty necklace and you can be the understated beauty of your event or pair it with some heels, bright jewelry and a stand out clutch and you’ll be a bright knockout!

I absolutely adore floral prints, but I also like not looking like a grandma so sometimes it can be hard to find a floral dress that doesn’t make me feel like I should be crocheting doilies. This Ted Baker dress definitely hits the mark. It’s mid-thigh coverage and sheath style could make it a colorful addition to your work wardrobe if you have more of an unconventional work culture. Ted Baker has really been hitting it home with his floral prints this season and I find his clothing really figure flattering.

Stay fashionable my friends!
